The southern slopes of Mount Kenya are home to many coffee factories operated by The Rutuma Cooperative Society, of which Ruthagati is a part.
The complex, juicy character of this coffee is thanks in no small part to the nutrient rich volcanic soil that is found in this area.
Ripe cherries of many different varieties are delivered to the Ruthagati factory by local smallholder farmers, resulting in a unique blend showcasing the best that this region has to offer.
